What is it? The competition is an annual event open to all engineering undergraduate students at Australian and New Zealand universities. Your task is to create a poster of up to A0 size, based on the topic "Effective Learning Experiences". You may draw upon your own experiences
When is it? There will be a poster session for the Competition at 10am on Tuesday September 30th 2003. You will be expected to present your poster to conference attendees, and to answer questions that may arise from your poster. You should arrive around 9:30 to give yourself enough time to set up. The poster session will last for around thirty minutes. Following this, there will be a panel session in competition participants and conference attendees can discuss the issues raised by the posters in the competition.
Where is it? The poster competition will be held in the foyer of Storey Hall, RMIT Building 16, 342 Swanston St, Melbourne. Click here for a map.
Can I work in a group? Groups of up to four participants are acceptable.
How will the posters be judged? The posters will be judged
on three criteria - Planning & Layout; Colour, Text, Visuals; Presentation.

What is the prize? The entry judged to be best poster will receive a framed certificate and a $500 prize.
