Welcome to the 15th Annual Meeting of the Australasian Epidemiological Association. An exciting programme planned around the theme of:

"Opportunities and Limits in Epidemiological Research"

A number of speakers, both international and local, have already been confirmed and will present on a range of subjects. For further details visit the Speakers and Programme pages.

The event will be preceeded by a pre-conference course, "Introduction to the Principles and Methods of Epidemiological Research" presented by Professor Kenneth Rothman and hosted by the Menzies Research Centre in Hobart, Tasmania. The course will run from September 12-15, 2006. Details can be found on the course website.

As in previous years workshops will also be held prior to the conference in addition to several Breakfast Sessions. Proposed workshop topics include - Interactions Between Genetics & Epidemiology and Stata for Epidemiologists. More information is available here.
