The AIE postgraduate student energy awards competition were for the first time held nationally in conjunction with this Conference. Students presented their postgraduate energy project or study as a poster with a printed abstract and personal explanation during the poster sessions at the conference. Students were assessed on the combination of each of these elements and substantial awards, provided by the Conference sponsors were presented in the closing session.
