welcome

2006 is the 10th Anniversary for the Centre for Eye Research Australia.  This is an important milestone for us and we hope you will be able to help us celebrate it. To mark this occasion the Centre will host a colloquium in Melbourne Australia on 12th and 13th of October 2006.

The colloquium will recognize World Sight Day (12th October). It will explore the current status of significant eye diseases and innovative developments into their diagnosis, prevention and treatment. The conference will examine issues relating to economic impact, health policy and planning and exciting new technologies.

We plan to publish proceedings from this conference.

The conference will provide a great forum for the interchange of ideas and current and future developments in ophthalmology and eye care. We hope you recognize the value of this rare opportunity to network within the sector in both formal and informal capacities.
