Melbourne is well serviced by three major domestic airlines and 20 international airlines.

There are many daily flights between Melbourne and other Australian state capitals. You could expect to pay between A$75 and A$135 (one way) for flights Melbourne-Sydney or Melbourne-Adelaide, and between A$145-A$300 (one way) for longer routes such as Melbourne-Perth.

The Skybus from Tullamarine Airport costs under AUD$15.00 per person - a shuttle bus service from the airport to Melbourne CBD and city hotels. This service operates 24 hours, 7 days and departs every half hour. For more information Skybus can be contacted on (61 3) 9670 7992. A Tram or Taxi could then deliver you to the conference venue. A taxi from Spencer Street (CBD bus depot) will cost approximately AUD$10. Skybus also operates a hotel shuttle, simply transfer onto the Hotel Shuttle mini-bus when you arrive at Spencer Street Station.

There is Taxi Rank at the Airport. Fares to the CBD are approximately AUD$45.00. If there are more than two people travelling together a taxi is recommended.

The Avalon Airport Shuttle meets all incoming and outgoing Jetstar flights providing a pre-booked service to Geelong, Bellarine Peninsula, Torquay and Great Ocean Road. A door to door service is also available within those destinations and fares start from as low as $12 one way.

Regular express V-Line train services run between Geelong and Melbourne for $10.70 one way.

The centre is easily accessible via public transport, with trams and buses leaving from Victoria Parade, and the train station within a five-minute walk

Greyhound Australia (previously McCafferty's) also operates buses in Victoria and interstate.

By Car

Melbourne is approximately 8-10 hours drive from both Sydney and Adelaide. Visit the Tourism Victoria Route Planner for driving directions. Please drive carefully and take regular breaks.
