A limited number of Garden Balcony rooms have been reserved for Conference delegates at a special rate of AU$211 per room, per night including breakfast for 2 persons. An additional person including breakfast will cost AU$45 per night. Each room sleeps up to four adults with existing bedding.

All bookings must be made directly with the hotel. Particpants must first register. Upon receiving one's registration form and payment of the registration fee, the Conference Management office will send the person a payment notification with the participant's number. This number MUST be quoted when contacting Daydream Island Resort:

If you need to save costs, you might consider sharing a room. We have set up a room-share email list to help you find a roommate.
Just send an email message with subject line ROOM SHARING and body text containing your name, gender , smoking or non-smoking preference and email address to Conference Management at: smocs-2005@unimelb.edu.au and you will be added to the room sharing email list.

Upon receipt of this message, a Room Sharing List will be sent to you at the address you provide. You should contact potential roommates directly. If you find a roommate please advise us to remove your name and your roommate's name from the list.

The information you provide, along with all other list participants, will be distributed to all list participants on a weekly basis by email. Contact information is limited to email only.
