A limited number of rooms have been reserved for conference participants and all bookings must be made directly with the resort (see the accommodation page for more details).

*Anyone enrolled in a full-time programme of study is eligible for the student rate. The registration form must be accompanied by a letter from the participant's supervisor or Head of School confirming this status.

NOTE: Registration fee includes working lunch on full conference days (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) for all participants. Conference Dinner is included in Full Registration. Students and accompanying persons may attend the Conference Dinner at additional cost (AU$80 per person)


Limited financial support for PhD students willing to participate in SMOCS-05 (more precisely, in the 4th National Symposium on Financial Mathematics component thereof) is available from Financial Integrity ARC Research Network, FIRN (scholarships can only be awarded to students from institutions that are members of FIRN).

Cancellation of a registration must be notified in writing to Conference Management. Cancellations prior to 1 June 2005 will receive a full refund less AU$55 administration fee. No refund will be given for cancellation after 1 June 2005, however substitutions will be possible.


Those wishing to present a paper at the conference should submit an abstract using our LaTeX template. To download the template please click here. Please ensure that the printed output of your abstract fits on ONE PAGE and email your LaTeX source file to: smocs@ms.unimelb.edu.au and also send a printed copy of your abstract with your registration form.

Please note that the number of oral presentations will be limited, so a number of submitted papers will have to appear in the poster session.
